”An eligible festival should enhance community access to the arts, should attract local support and deliver artistic excellence. Festivals may feature a combination of local and touring artists and should facilitate the exchange of local ideas, narratives or issues that engage community participation. Additionally, priority will be placed on festivals which provide opportunities for skill development for community-based artists (eg. workshops).” Further details on website.
