Qualifications
First edition trade books written by professionals who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Books must have been published in the appropriate year (September - September) and at least 48 pages long, and must be available in Canada with an ISBN. Self-published books are ineligible.

How to Apply
Publishers submit four copies of eligible books for consideration. Publishers are responsible for filling out a Publisher's Registration Form. Contact the Canada Council for a registration form.
