Love of seizing the moment with a camera! - 2005/06/06 15:50
[b]
From a very young age the art of photography has enchanted me. Seizing the moment and having it to see years later is like a miracle to me. No matter how long it takes to get the shot I want, I will have the patience to do it. Photography is a relaxation activity for me, and macro photography is my favorite thing to do. Anybody else feel this way about the craft, or their cameras or the special shot they captured that pleased them so??? Bonnie.

Hi Bonnie. Thanks for posting. I just wanted to welcome you to the forum.
A very cool photo by the way. Where was that taken?
Cheers,

Hi there!!
That photo was taken out in Trinity Bay, Newfoundland, from the deck of our boat. The Island is called Ragged Island, and this spectrum of light appeared out of nowhere. I was enthralled by it, had never seen it before, nor had anyone who was with me ever seen it before. Created by the waves hitting the rocks I would expect, although there was very little lop or wind that day as you can see by the ocean in the forefront. I love this pic, brings back memories of the boat we had. We are in the market for a slightly bigger one now. I have to have a boat in my life!!!*lol* Bonnie.
