Hi everyone,

As an artist, painter I don't want to miss the chance to be the first to do things. You have to use the opportunity when you see it!

I want to assure you that I am a serious artist, my biggest challenge right now is to express myself in english, as you probably notice it, I am french speaking person.

I am so happy that I had found this forum and I am sure that could be very interesting to discuss art creation and diffusion. After a few years as a full time painter I realize that you have to take decision like an administrator and keep the emotive side of your personnality intact. I think that we have to keep in mind that the creativity is the first motivation. That is why we have to make the right choice when you choose some art galleries ready to use their skills and then you could use all your energy to create more freely.

I would like to exchange point of view about your own ways to combine all the aspects of the work.

Johanne

Welcome Johanne!

I think you're doing quite well with your English. Good job!

Your website is very nicely designed. Did you do that yourself or did you hire someone?

Cheers,

Cheryl

Thank you for our comments on my website. To your question about hire someone to construct my site, yes I hired a person to do it, but since then I ask to one of my friend to do some ajustements. The next thing to do is to create a tool that could allow me to do change texts and images when I need it. I think that could very interesting to change the entire look with the help of a graphic designer.

But as you see I don't use my site to sell my painting. I have choose to work exclusively with arts galleries. Prensently, I was thinking about working with agent if I want to expend my diffusion in some other provinces and in the United States. I am not sure yet if it's a good move to do for me now.

Finally, I hope that this forum will become a source of discussion that could help a community of artists in Canada and maybe in others countries.

Bye,

Johanne
