Canadian lyric coloratura soprano Cheryl Campbell has performed numerous roles onstage. Among the roles she has performed are Armida (Handel's Rinaldo), Gilda (Rigoletto), Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance) Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Despina (Cosi fan Tutte), Lucy (The Telephone), Nora (Riders to the Sea), Brigitta (Tchaikovsky's Iolanta), and, Elle (La Voix Humaine - in English).

Cheryl regularly performs in recitals and concerts. In 2005, she performed a lunchtime recital with pianist Nigel Foster as part of the regular lunchtime recital series at St. Mary-Le-Bow church in central London, U.K. Also in central London, she sang the role of Gilda in the quartet from Rigoletto with the Trans-Opera Orchestra (Stephen Ellery conducting) as part of an opera gala in support of Amnesty International. In Toronto, she has performed with a number of organizations including Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, Toronto Operetta Theatre, and Tryptych.

Cheryl has participated in the London Masterclasses (a one week intensive program for 12 singers with Nelly Miricioiu), as well as The Abingdon Summer School for Solo Singers. She holds an Honours BMus and an Artist Diploma from the University of Western Ontario in Canada. Teachers have included Theresa Goble (London), Gwenlynn Little (Toronto), and Alvin Reimer (University of Western Ontario).
